I have a master’s in Counseling Psychology and am a certified practitioner with the International Association of Islamic Psychology (islamicpsychology.org). I have been offering my services in person and online for 6 years and counting. I have experience with working on trauma, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and healing, healing the mother wound, refugee work, compassionate self-growth and healing from sexual and gender-based violence (amongst other things). My main methodology is using the Islamic Psychology framework with a focus on holistic health based on our physiologic design. I am also a certified birth worker with TNPS which focuses on Traditional and Indigenous postpartum Morrocan Medicine. I am informed on perinatal and postnatal maternal mental health and our foundational physiologic design through my INNATE Post Partum Care Provider certification.
